Our team is back from Netroots 2022. Our luggage is unpacked, expense reports are filed, and we miss all of you already. Aside from being able to connect with so many current and future clients in person and show off our new dialer, we learned a lot from each panel, training, and most importantly, conversations with you! If you missed it this year, we’ve got the cure for your FOMO in the form of our takeaways from the conference below. Here’s what we learned:
“There's momentum in the labor movement - it was heartening to see that a good amount of panels and trainings were focused on work that takes place outside of the political [campaign] sphere. It was also great to see and speak with some of the representatives from ALU (Amazon Labor Union) and SBWU (Starbucks Workers United) that are doing the work,” remarks Max Knutsen, our Client Success Manager. And he’d be right. Labor and union efforts taking center stage in our national discourse, on the news, and at Netroots definitely tracks with what we’re seeing here over at GetThru by way of more new clients than ever coming from labor unions — both here and abroad! Shoutout to the folks from CWA, ALU, and SBWU that we were able to connect with, and solidarity forever!
